Our History

Tria Beauty was born in 2003 with the goal to transform a professional hair removal laser into a hand-held, easy-to-use device that delivered permanent results. Tria successfully did so with the launch of the Hair Removal Laser in Japan in 2005. In 2008, the laser was introduced in the US after receiving FDA clearance.

The hair removal laser device launch was followed in 2012 with the Tria SmoothBeauty Laser for home use to treat multiple signs of aging, including fine lines and wrinkles, uneven pigmentation, age spots, and skin texture. The launch of this laser represented a revolutionary breakthrough in anti-aging at-home laser treatments.

Tria continues to be committed to inspiring customers with a powerful fusion of science and beauty that enhances health and confidence at every age. We do this by providing evidence-based, innovative products that deliver the highest standards of safety and efficacy.
