Had clinical laser hair removal and see regrowth? How to touch up at home

Banishing those pesky dark hairs from your bikini line forever--sounds too good to be true, right? With summer already here and the leg-baring shorts and bathing suits have been dusted off from storage, we are excited to get out to bask in the sun. But who wants to spend a chunk of their day in the shower shaving away unwanted hair? That is why I think that laser hair removal is a godsend for people like me who used to grow leg hairs overnight after shaving it on a hot summer day. As wonderful as it all is, there is always a chance you are going to see some hair regrowth. One of the most frequent questions I receive from customers is: I had laser done at a clinic, and now I am seeing regrowth and don't want to spend the money again to have it treated. Will your 4X Hair Removal Laser work on these stray hairs? The answer: YES!
Tria 4X Hair Removal Laser
The great news for these types of customers is that our 4X Hair Removal Laser uses the same diode laser technology as the laser that is used in a clinical setting, and is more powerful than an IPL device, so you will see quicker and more effective results with the 4X than any other at-home device.

How does at-home laser hair removal work?

Not only will you save on expensive gas to get to the clinic, there's no need to sit in a waiting room with your hot face mask on. Here's how the laser works:
  • Targets: Tria's Hair Removal Laser 4X targets the pigment in the hair, without touching the surrounding skin.
  • Treats:Once the device identifies the hair melanin (differentiating it from the melanin in the skin by color), it sends highly-concentrated light through it. The light is converted into heat, which disables the hair follicle.
  • Disables:The hair from the disabled follicle falls out, leaving behind soft, smooth skin.
  • Maintains:Over time, the laser effectively disables the hair follicle’s ability to grow back hair.
You only need to touch up your regrowth areas once every two weeks until the hairs have fallen out. Keep in mind, if these hairs are red, white, grey, or blonde, they will not work with the laser as it cannot find the pigment.
