Get ready
Cleanse, shave, and towel-dry the skin.
Check skin tone
Apply the TRIA skin sensor (included) firmly against your skin in the area you plan to treat,
then press the blue button until the light turns green.
Get comfortable
Select the highest comfort level that suits your personal tolerance by pressing the blue button once for Level 1 (low), twice for Level 2 (low-medium), three times for Level 3 (medium), four times for Level 4 (medium-high), and five times for Level 5 (high).
Apply and overlap
Apply the tip of the laser to the skin. Wait for the beep, then reapply by slightly overlapping
the previous area. Repeat until you have covered the entire section you wish to treat.
Repeat
Once every other week for the first 3 months. Once per month for the next 5 months.

What it feels like:
The sensation is similar to the feeling of a warm rubber band being snapped against the skin.
Does it hurt?
Some people feel a moderate warming or prickling sensation and some feel no sensation at all. It's important to note that any sensation you may feel will lessen as the hair becomes finer.
After 1 month:
There will be no visible change to the hair or the appearance of the skin. Be patient - the results are worth the wait!
After 2 months:
Results. The hair will begin to lighten and become finer.
After 3 months:
Progressive results. You will begin to see a visible reduction in the amount of re-growth,
especially in areas where hair growth tends to be dense, like the bikini line for women or
the back and chest for men.
After 8 months:
permanent results. Hair follicles that have been disabled by the TRIA Laser will not grow back. Simply continue to use the TRIA Laser until the skin is completely smooth and hair-free and then, you're done!
How many treatments?
Dark, coarse hair: Approximately 6-8 treatments
Brown, fine to medium hair: Approximately 8-12 treatments
