In 2003, these scientists turned their attention to the next great challenge - bringing these types of professional procedures and energy-based devices to the home.

They created TRIA Beauty (formerly SpectraGenics, Inc) with the goal of finding ways to make today's most successful light-based cosmetic procedures safe for home use. By offering clinically proven at-home aesthetic technologies, TRIA Beauty intends to lead the industry in delivering real, visible results for hair reduction, anti-aging, and acne treatment solutions.
